Matilda De Angelis At Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Hidden Garden Launch New York 2026 In Black Schiaparelli Velvet Gown
Matilda De Angelis attended the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book 2026 Hidden Garden launch in New York on April 16, 2026 wearing a black Schiaparelli velvet gown featuring a dramatic X-shaped bodice and elegant cut-out detailing.
The actress stepped onto the red carpet at the Park Avenue Armory in a sculptural couture design that combined minimalism with bold architectural construction. From a distance, the gown appeared sleek and refined, while closer details revealed the complexity of the silhouette and tailoring.
The upper portion of the black velvet gown was designed with a striking X-shaped crossover structure across the chest, supported by ultra-thin shoulder straps. Carefully placed side cut-outs added definition to the waist while maintaining the clean and balanced line of the dress. The rich velvet fabric absorbed light beautifully, emphasizing the sharp construction and sculpted form of the bodice.
The column-style skirt extended straight to the floor with an uninterrupted silhouette that allowed the dramatic bodice detailing to remain the focal point of the ensemble. The smooth drop through the lower half balanced the structured upper section perfectly, creating an elegant and controlled red carpet look.
As a Tiffany & Co. house ambassador, Matilda De Angelis completed the appearance with statement jewelry pieces from the Blue Book collection. Her accessories included a yellow gold and diamond floral collar necklace, coordinating floral earrings, bracelets, and rings. The ornate necklace sat high along the collarbone with radiant petal-inspired detailing that complemented the bold neckline of the Schiaparelli gown beautifully.
